The statistics for February month released by android website say that gingerbread is at its best with 62% running on android phones worldwide. While Ice Cream Sandwich comes with 1.6% distributions.
The increase in the sale and scale of Samsung smartphones with Android 2.3 must be the reason for the lion share of Gingerbread. With the release of Ice Cream Sandwich ICS into the market the version distribution levels will be affected again.
