When you want your post to be publicly visible, just add @[public] at the end of the post.
Ex:”I am out of mind @[public]”
Google+ provides security to your SMS posts.” While actual SMS attacks are quite rare, it is technically possible for an attacker to spoof an SMS. For example, by sending an SMS to Google that appears as though it came from you, while in fact it did not.” Google explains.
You can choose a PIN to ensure Google that the content is posted by you. At the Google+ settings page you can configure your alphanumeric (A-Z or 0-9) PIN which should be of 4-8 characters. After you have setup a PIN your posts should include SMS post and commands along with your security PIN.
Ex: “AP313 I am coming @trekkingpals”
And when you just text your status without giving the commands the post is shared in default with all your circles.
Ex:” AP313 I am coming”
